Saints and sages throughout the ages learned how blood, nerves, muscles, organs, and glands work harmoniously together. Hand positions (mudra), breath (pranayama), sound (mantra), posture, meditation, and motion are employed to invite optimal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance within the Kundalini Yoga practitioner. Kundalini is derived from the word “kundal” which means, “coil” or “lock of hair from the beloved”. Kundalini lies relatively dormant at the base of the spine. Kundalini Yoga systematically awakens this “coiled up” energy resulting in subtle, yet phenomenal, life changing experiences.
Sue's life transformed in 1997 when she completed the Kundalini Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training under the instruction of Yogi Bhajan. She was instrumental in establishing an on-going Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training held in Colorado each year since 2004. Sue continues to teach with a palpable grace and enthusiasm wherever she is invited to share the yoga. Meanwhile she loves skiing and hiking in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo mountains.
